Dr. Carlos E. Vila, D.D.S. was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and has lived in the United States since the age of two. He received a bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University in 1982. He was accepted to Georgetown University Dental School from which he graduated in 1986. After his general practice residency at Tufts University Dental School, he settled in the Main Line, Pennsylvania area in 1988, where he has lived ever since.
Dr. Vila is an active member in the national and local dental community. His membership in the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Academy of Stomatology is evidence of his commitment to providing first-rate care for his patients. Respected by his colleagues, Dr. Vila is the 2005 president-elect of the Main Line Dental Society.
Dr. Vila is married to his dental practice partner, Dr. Theresa Smith, and has three children: Benjamin, Daniel, and Sophia. In his spare time, Dr. Vila enjoys cycling, skiing, and reading. He also enjoys the cinema and theatre.
